It’s a joy to facilitate this Directed Silent Retreat and to come alongside you to discover this ancient and beautiful way of relating with your Heavenly Father; the Language of Love that flows through silence.

We live in an environment full of noise, outside and also inside of us — silence reveals the noise and helps us to face it with His loving and gracious presence.

Elijah knew that the Lord was not in the great and powerful wind, in the earthquake or in the fire –that He would be found in the silence. He only emerged from the cave at Horeb when he heard that silence. The desert fathers and mothers also knew the delight of communion with God in silence, solitude, simplicity, and prayer, the art of listening beyond speech.

This Directed Silent Retreat is an exciting new expression for Fatherheart Ministries. It will be held over five days, including three full days of silence, within a beautiful ranch-home with plenty of space to walk and explore. It is a time to be still, to be quietened, to allow our hearts to see and hear with greater clarity and depth.
